Thank you for the home inspection. As I mentioned, when I called you, I do not plan to sell my home but I was wanting to know what repairs would be required before my retirement.

Some structural damage in my crawl space was discovered, among things in other areas of the house. This is exactly what I needed to know, before I spent money on cosmetic changes and did nothing to correct a real problem.

I have contracted a builder, who will start working to fix the crawl space damage.

Your report was well written, with photos, and I am using it as my guide in getting things done. You and Audrey worked well together and also called me in to show me some areas of concern that are in the report.  Your inspection
was from top to bottom of the house and grounds.

The report was available, on-line, in just a couple of days. I also appreciated the follow up phone calls that you made to me. That was very thoughtful of you.

I am a first time homebuyer with 2 kids and my husband is in the Navy.  I was challenged in many different aspects in buying my home.  First I don't know much about the mechanics of a home.  I searched for a goodhome inspector via the internet.  I came across New Beg., I was skeptical at first being new at all of this, then I called and talked to Gary, and he was very personable.  I called a few other people and did not get the same warmth.  So I decided to hire him on his credentials and personality.  He was very prompt in showing up at the home.  It was very hard to talk to him during the inspection due to my children running around.  But he made me still feel comfortable and at ease.  He seemed to inspect the house very thoroughly.  He was very professional and knowledgeable.  He explained things to me as he was inspecting the house, and due to my lack of knowledge he even broke it down in ABC format.  When the inspection was over with, we didn't have the chance to talk due to the children.  I called him afterwards and he gave me a short summary of the things he had found.  He conveniently sent me the report via email.  I like the fact that he had pictures to illustrate the issues that he found it was easily understood.  He is easily reached, the sellers even called him for questions and he gave them all the right information without risking the negotiation process between me and them.  I was very satisfied in his work and communication.  I would recommend him and would use his services again.
